Q: How's the weather there in Carolina, Puerto Rico?
A: Well, the weather there is nice when I went there. The temperature there is 90°F during days and 65°F during nights. Puerto Rico is also a humid place since it is located near to equator. You will get sweat often there like in Philippines. Sometimes, there is a rain in the late afternoon, evening, or early morning.
Q: Did you have a tour in Carolina, Puerto Rico?
A: Yes, after I took my rest at Coral by the Sea Hotel, I had a tour at the downtown area of Carolina, Puerto Rico. Carolina, Puerto Rico is also a well-known place for having beaches. Most of the beaches there are located at the back of the hotels and resorts. There are also casinos but I don't play because I don't want to spend money so much. I went to many shopping malls there which is closer to the hotels and resorts, too. You will hear the plane engine often because Luis Muņoz Marin International Airport (SJU) is only 15 minutes drive from that place. After my tour, I had a dinner at Platos Restaurant and Bar, a well-known Puerto Rican restaurant in Carolina, Puerto Rico. I enjoyed in eating Puerto Rican dishes. The foods there are delicious and their tastes are different because their ingredients are also good. They are not spicy but their taste are different as I said. Since Puerto Rico is also a tropical place, there are coconuts, bananas, pineapples, papayas, guavas, guanabana (a kind of fruit that grown in Puerto Rico only and it is similar to guyabano in Philippines), and so on. I listened to many Puerto Rican songs and all their songs are beautiful and romantic. I went also to Piu Bello Gelato, an ice cream parlor in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Their ice creams are also good because their ice creams are all homemade style. This ice cream parlor is also popular in Puerto Rico. There are some ice creams with Bacardi rum that's why their ice creams are unique. They are also serving cocktail drinks. I like their Piņa Colada and Banana Daiquiri. I like the papaya ice cream, guava ice cream, and guanabana ice cream. The taste of guanabana ice cream is similar to atis or sweet custard fruit in Philippines. Most of the restaurants there are just walking distance from Coral by the Sea Hotel.
Q: Is your trip to Carolina, Puerto Rico memorable?
A: Yes, of coarse. It is so memorable because it was my first time to go there. The weather there is so nice like in Philippines. The people there are also approachable and friendly. I am also learning in speaking Spanish there. Although not all the people in Puerto Rico are fluent in English, they are friendly and approachable as I said. The peace and order situation there is also good because the law in Puerto Rico is also the same as in United States of America. Therefore, the area is peaceful.
Q: Do you have a plan to visit again in Carolina, Puerto Rico in the future?
A: Yes, of course because as I said that Luis Muņoz Marin International Airport (SJU) is located there. Most of the car rentals, hotels and resorts are located there. I want to have a shopping in the shopping malls there later. I was not able to visit in many shopping malls there because I don't have enough time and my vacation there is only 4 days.
Q: Do you recommend Carolina, Puerto Rico to anyone?
A: Yes, I will recommend also to anyone to visit in Carolina, Puerto Rico because it is a nice place, too. As I mentioned that Luis Muņoz Marin International Airport (SJU), car rentals, hotels, and resorts are located there. The area is peaceful, too. This is a nice place also for shopping as well. You can also relax at the beaches there. The people there are nice, friendly, and approachable, too.
