Q: Do you have lots of memories during your childhood?

A: Yes, of course because my relatives and parents love me very much. They bought me a nice clothes from Escolta, Manila, Philippines. My grandparents bought me imported candies, too. My mother feeds me delicious foods and cereals especially Cerelac or Gerber. My father bought me lots of vitamins. I had also a regular check-up to our doctors like Dra. Guillerma Naval and Dr. Sergio Vargas. My parents did not allow me to have mosquito bites. They take care of me with love at all time.

Q: Is your birthday memorable?

A: Yes of course, my birthdays are memorable, too. Every year, I had balloons, cakes, and ice creams always. They bought balloons at Paras Balloons, they bought cakes at Jo-nis Bakeshop, and they bought Magnolia ice creams at Tropical Hut Grocery. My 1st Birthday was held at my grandparents' (my father's side) house in 188 Samson Road, Caloocan, Rizal, Philippines.

My 2nd Birthday was held at my grandparents' (my father's side) house in 188 Samson Road, Caloocan, Rizal, Philippines.

After my birthday, We Went to Luneta Park (now Rizal Park) in Ermita, Manila.

My 3rd Birthday was held at my grandparents' (my mother's side) house in San Roque, Baliwag, Bulacan, Philippines.

Q: They said that you are spoiled child, isn't it?

A: Yes. I was a spoiled child because I am an only child of my parents and they gave me the things that I want. They were sending me to Luneta Park and Children's Playground in Ermita, Manila, Philippines if they had an extra time with my parents, grandparents, and relatives. Although I was a spoiled child, my parents gave me a lot of guidances and they taugth me the good manners and right conducts like respecting to parents, grandparents, and elders.

Q: What is your favorite food when you are as a child?

A: Well, my favorite foods are the following when I was a child are: Magnolia Fresh Milk in bottle, Magnolia Choco Vim, Sarsi (Rootbeer), M and M chocolates, Tootsie Roll, Sunkist Orange Juice in tetrapack, Skyflakes biscuits, Fita Biscuits, Pacitas Butter Cookies, etc.

Q: What are your favorite toys when you are as a kid?

A: Guns, robots, battery operated cars and jeeps, dolls, matchboxes, airplanes, houses and kitchen tools, Tupperware toys, and bicycles.

Q: Is your house where you grown-up also memorable?

A: Yes of course. First, we were lived at my grandparents' (my father's side) house at 188 Samson Road, Caloocan, Rizal, Philippines from 1970 up to 1974. My parents, grandparents, and aunts are the persons who take care of me. Finally, we were moved to Atty. Alipio Nuqui's apartment located at 116 Gen. San Miguel St., Sangandaan, Caloocan City, Philippines from 1974 up to 1993. Dr. Sergio Vargas, my father's godfather and my grandmother's first cousin is a friend of Atty. Alipio Nuqui and since Atty. Alipio Nuqui had a vacant unit in his apartment and my grandfather was asked him to reserve the unit so that we could transfer immediately. We were transferred into a two bedroom apartment so that we would have a privacy from our relatives. Most of the folks said that it is hard to live with relatives especially when you get married. My mother wants to avoid gossips and intrigues from her in-laws and it is a start of argument of my parents.

Q: Is your place is accessible to stores?

A: Yes of course, our home is accessible to stores like Merced Drug Store, Mercury Drug Store, Sangandaan Public Market, Da Best Mart, 680 Department Store, Hardwares, and Bakery. I can go to the stores by walking and you don't have to take a public transportation like riding into jeepneys, etc. Thanks GOD that our home is very accessible to any stores. It was a nice blessing to our family.

Q: We learned that you have visited Baguio City with your family, isn't it?

A: Yes, we were visited in Baguio City in 1975 with my family. Actually, my aunt's (Estelita Samson Magtalas) friend and manager, Mr. Ompong Ocampo, of Universal Textile Mills or UTex in Barangka, Marikina, Rizal, Philippines did a tour for us. We were stayed at Hyatt Hotel for 3 days. My uncle, Alfonso Samson Magtalas, Jr.,and his family was a former residence there and he did us a tour for us also. This was my first time to visit Baguio City, Philippines and I cannot forget this memories.
